DSAH members can apply for bursaries towards therapy, recreation and technology devices.

Other financial resources are not administered by DSAH but resources can be found below.

DSAH Technology, Therapy & Recreation Bursary Program

This program is designed to allow members of the association who have a family member with Down Syndrome or the member him or herself with Down syndrome, to access bursary support on an annual basis.

Eligible families will be expected to pay for approved services and in turn, will be reimbursed pending approval, with submission of receipt(s), and the bursary application form. Where it is not possible for a family to pay up front for a qualifying service, upon receiving the bursary application form, the Board will consider assistance in advance of purchase.

Program Maximums for Fiscal Year (April 1st to March 31st of the following year)

$500 – Recreation
$750 – Therapy / Technology

Use this form to apply for DSAH Therapy or Recreation/Technology Bursary. Once submitted it can take up to 8 weeks to receive your reimbursement by e-transfer. Requests submitted at the end of the fiscal year may take longer to process due to high volumes. Help us expedite your request by submitting multiple requests at one time if possible. This form can take up to 16 invoices.
